iexplore.exe respawning

9 min read

This thread's last reply is from May 5, 2009, 11:19 AM UTC. Software, malware, and removal-tool advice below may be out of date — treat specific steps and download links with caution.

iexplore.exe (no caps) keeps respawning, no matter how many times I run a virus scan. The program is blocked from using the internet, but the respawning will eventually drain my system resources. I keep stopping the processes, but eventually they start back.
