Browser Redirect

My search results are redirected to sites other than what I click on. I am able to copy and paste the links and they work ok. I have tried several different programs to remove the problem, but without success. Any help you could give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Step 1:
Disable Ad-Watch, as it may hinder the removal of some entries.
You can re-enable it after you're clean.


Step 2:
Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

• Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
• At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Check (tick) all items except items in the C:\System Volume Information folder, and click Remove Selected.
• When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location.
• The log can also be found here:
  C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt
• Post that log back here.

Step 3:
Download at your desktop DDS from one of the links below:

• Double click the tool to run it.
• A black Screen will open, just read the contents and do nothing.
• When the tool finish it will open 2 reports.
• Copy/paste both reports back here along with the Malwarebytes report.
