Dancing Skeleton

10 November, 2007 | Security, Trojans/Virus's & Nasties, spam | By: Nellie2

Yeah I know Halloween has been and gone, but I’m in the UK and over the past couple of days I’ve been getting emails telling me to download this cute dancing skeleton, one of the emails I got even said that I must show this to my kids!

The site you are taken to if you click on the link looks like this

And if you do happen to ‘Click Here’ then what you get is W32/Nuwar.Gen  or a variant of the storm worm.  My Anti Virus picked it up ok.. but then I was expecting something nasty.

Please please please don’t click on links in emails that you get… especially if the link looks like an IP address.   An IP address is a bunch of numbers and it would look a bit like this  http://xx.xx.xxx.xxx/ of course you would have numbers in stead of the x’s… but I’m sure you get what I mean.

And make sure you have another little chat with your children to remind them about the dangers of spam and downloading stuff without asking you first.
