Let me know what else to remove:

I still have on C drive:

WINDOWSvundofix
Vundofix
rapport
Combofix
!Killbox
Vundofix Backups
AVG7QT
Auth (in wordpad)
QooBox (with a Purity folder in it)

Thanks!
In the case of Display Utility, uninstall it from Add/Remove programs and then delete its folder from Programs Files.

You can delete these now:

WINDOWSvundofix
Vundofix
rapport
Combofix
!Killbox
Vundofix Backups
QooBox (with a Purity folder in it)

I would recommend keeping AVG anti-spyware. If you want remove it, uninstall it first and then delete the folders.

I am unsure what this file/program is?

Auth (in wordpad)

Right-click and select Edit. Let me know what is inside.
Computer's working great. Thanks... :D

Contents of Auth in C drive:

[PROF_MGR]
PROF_NUM=0
SEL_PROF_ID=

You can let me know if we should delete otherwise I think we're good to go and many thanks!!!
Hi skicb!

You can delete the Auth file. Also, I would Uninstall Display Utility since 1) it is unknown to you and 2) I believe it was installed by some malware.

The computer looks to be well protected. I would also recommend the following:

Install and keep updated, SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard

It is a good idea to Flush your System Restore points after ridding yourself of malware: You can clean this by doing the following:
  • Click Start | Help and Support | Undo changes to your computer with System Restore.
  • Click Create A Restore Point then click Next. Give it a name it and then click Create, then Close.
  • Close the Help and Support Center box.
  • Click Start | Run and type Cleanmgr
  • Select (C: ) then click OK.
  • Click the More Options tab.
  • Click Clean Up in the System Restore Section.
This will remove all previous restore points except the newly created one.

Let me know if you remove Display Utility and if we can archive this thread.
All clean. Display Utility gone.

Thanks again for your help :)

Archive away!!!
Glad we could be of assistance.
