Hello, The last few days, while I'm using Firefox, Internet Explorer windows keep popping up with ad sites. Just today Firefox started doing the same thing with the pop-ups. I've run a few different ad-ware scanning programs - Spyware doctor, Spybot S&D, Ad-aware SE - with no success. It is also no surprise that, since the pop-ups started, my computer is also running very slow and giving me program errors every once in a while. I would appreciate any help I can get. You should delete ComboFix; it is a very powerful tool. You can keep Ad-Aware and AVG Anti-Spyware - run regular scans with them.

I forgot to say to clean out the infected restore points:

Click Start | Help and Support | Undo changes to your computer with System Restore.
Click Create A Restore Point then click Next. Give it a name it and then click Create, then Close.
Close the Help and Support Center box.
Click Start | Run and type Cleanmgr
Select (C: ) then click OK.
Click the More Options tab.
Click Clean Up in the System Restore Section.

This will remove all previous restore points except the newly created one.
