Malware causes IE popups when using Firefox! (page 2)

Hi everybody, For the last couple of weeks, I have been facing enormous amounts of trouble with popups in IE7, while I am connected to the internet. I exclusively use Firefox for browsing. Symptoms: 1. Many *.exe files in Windows folder and the Program Files folder have got replaced with files of the same name with an extra space in the end. For eg, the touchpad program file Apoint.exe has become "Apoint .exe", YahooMessenger.exe is "YahooMessenger .exe" and so on. 2. The HDD icon has become a Red "delete-this" like icon. 3. When I am browsing in Firefox, I get popups in IE on topics relevant to my current page/ search term in Firefox page. 4. In addition, I get popups of "brandarama", "hopelessromantic", "mmorpg.com" etc. 5. Lots of *.tmp files are created in the C: and My Documents folders with names like "posC23.tmp", etc., many of which I could not delete. I have tried McAfee and PC-Cillin for antiviruses, AdAware, McAfee and some others for spywares etc., and they mostly come out
