Recovery Console

Select the download that's appropriate for your Operating System



Download the file & save it as its originally named, next to ComboFix.exe.





Now close all open windows and programs, then drag the setup package onto ComboFix.exe and drop it. Follow the prompts to start ComboFix and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Recovery Console. When complete, a log named CF_RC.txt will open. Please post the contents of that log.

I don't know what MyVideoDaily is at all. Sorry.

And as for not having a recovery drive, in the My Computer window, it used to say that I had RECOVERY (D:) and now it is no longer there.

I will unfortunately not be able to do things until first thing Thursday morning, I apologise deeply.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The computer I use has ceased to start normally. Every time I attempt to switch it on and log in, the laptop restarts itself and has been doing so for the past 30mins. I really, really don't know what to do. Can someone help please.

EDIT

I think the only option is to restore the laptop to its original factory settings.

Can you start the machine in safe mode ?

To reboot in safe mode
You can boot in Safe Mode by restarting your computer, then continually tapping F5 until a menu appears.
Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, then hit enter.

It automatically goes into the reboot menu and I cannot start it in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last known good settings or normally. I get a screen that flashes up quickly and it says it could be a software or hardware that was recently installed.
