Is there anything I can do to keep from getting it again? And, about system restore: Should I disable and re-enable it to have a clean starting point?

You should now go back to my post earlier where I gave you some tips on what to install and use to help prevent this from happening.


System restore is a way to undo any bad changes to your settings, you can return to a point before you made the change.


Sometimes different viruses can hide in the restore points and the only way to clean it is to remove all the restore points.

Go here and follow the instructions to disable system restore and then enable it again. That will clear all the points.

Then you should go and create a new restore point so you have a 'clean' one.

My husband says it's back. Can you check for me?
