I don't know anything about validating windows. The computer has been here for about 4 years or so and in that time i haven't validated windows. I don't really know what that means entirely.
Also, I have uninstalled explorer a few weeks ago as I thought it was slowing up my machine. I can download it on my other machine and then transfer it to the machine in question if thats ok?
