Google redirect malware infection

Hello, It's great there are forums like this to help victims of these malicious attacks. Google has been my browser'S (IE8) home page. Suddenly I found that when I did a search it was slow to display the results page (which looks completely normal). Then when I click a link, the browser is redirected to one of a number questioinale looking web sites that I never heard of and that are full of adds. The URL that appears during this redirect at the bottom left of the window is " hxxp://adsence.yahoosearchengine.com/" followed by a very long string. I have used two other search sites- Bing and Yahoo- since the infection and they are uneffected and work fine. I have not been getting the unwanted pop ups that others have reported. I updated and performed deep scans on my computer with my anti virus program, Viper (it found some tracking cookies) and two freeware programs I use: Superantispyware (also found some tracking cookies) and Malwarebytes (found nothing). I did the scans in safe mode
