I seem to have successfully removed the trojan horse Backdoor.Ircbot but still get a message saying that Windows Explorer 'has been closed to help protect your pc'. I am using Windows XP. I have AVG Free 8.0, ZoneAlarm, Spywareblaster. My broadband supplier BT provides a Hub but I do not use the wireless option. Mozilla Firefox is our preferred browser. I also use Mailwasher for e-mail filtering. I would appreciate guidance to resolve this problem and receive confirmation my pc has been cleaned and will not infect anyone else. Peku006. Thanks very much. I think you should now become peku007 after guiding me through that marathon. am jealous of you being in Norway. Have wanted to visit for nearly 50 years but with things now in meltdown thats not going to happen sadly. Best wishes to you. toofy27
