I may have a google redirect virus

That is a feature of the latest Norton product and is nothing to worry about.

also, just viewing porn shouldnt open up a virus am I correct? I go to some sites from time to time but do not download anything. I havent went to any since cleaning my system recently though. I want to make sure I learn alot about the stuff to just be safe about before I take a chance.

It shouldn't install a virus, but porn sites are known to exploit browser vulnerabilities and to use social engineering to trick the user into installing malware.
Your malware problem appears to have been resolved. The Malware Removal forum deals with removing malware. While we understand your need for information, please be aware that they are still people with malware issues, waiting for trained helpers.
