Your log looks clean. Malware may not be the problem.
Please be sure that your copy of Azureus came from SourceForge. Other versions may have been modified to include spyware.

There is a known bug in Zone Alarm Free which locks the home page on some machines.
In order to fix it, the ZA firewall has to be completely uninstalled.
Directions are here. Follow all the steps carefully.

(I would not try to reinstall the free ZA firewall on your machine right now)
I would suggest downloading and installing the free Sunbelt Kerio firewall, from here.

After you have installed it, you can choose the paid version if you wish. It is very inexpensive and allows some extra features.

I followed the instructions to uninstall & remove ZA and have installed the Kerio firewall, I am now able to change my home page.
