google result links redirecting to add sites

Hi,
Just recently I recieved a "piggback" trojan from a website teaching tutorials on Adobe Flash. Fortunately, I have PC Tools Antivirus and Spyware Doctor, which removed the trojan along with 87 spam infections (which I did not have before visiting that site!). But it left more damage. I use FireFox 3 as my web browser, and when I do a google search and click on the links I get redirected to add sites. Additionally, Firefox wont even let me enter in some urls in the bar. Internet Explorer 8 and Safari are unaffected. I have no idea of how this can be fixed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I fixed the problem by downloading malwarebytes anti-malware program. It fount many infections of adware.websearch (probably what it was). All is ok so this topic can be closed
