CPU 100%

Hello, my computer is running a bit slow, and my cpu is at 100% allot of the time. and the fan is scraming. Also my mcaffre pulls up a blank screen. I have 3.5g of ram, 3.0 hyperthread proccessor and 149g of hd space avlbl, I just cleaned and defraged, ran ccleaner, and spybot. this should not be happining. I know my wife got a virus on that myspace page, and i uninstalled windows because of it, and reloaded it, however i did not 0 the HD, should I have?

I'm sorry it's taken so long for you to get a response.

I can't see any signs of malware in your HijackThis log. That doesn't guarantee your machine is clean of malware, but it's a good sign. As you have just reformatted I think it's very unlikely that the problems you are experiencing are malware-related.

For help with non-malware-related issues, I recommend you try posting at a general troubleshooting forum like WhatTheTech or PC Pitstop. The experts at these forums specialize in this type of problem so you will be in good hands.
