Not only is my computer running slowly, but sometimes it acts like it freezes.
When I run Process Explorer (sysinternals) there may not be anything shown as running, but the little monitors in the task tray show internet activity. Makes me think something is running hidden.
I am running win XP home (sp3) Internet explorer eight. I have an abit motherboard with amd athlon 2 ghz.
I have two hard drives, 60gb (40gb free) and 80 gb (60 gb free). I have a HP deskjet printer attached.(D2500) I run PC tools' "Spyware doctor with antivirus". I run spyware blaster periodically. Also I periodically run smart defrag (IOBIT), and Advanced system care pro.
I've exhausted my resources and am turning to you for help.
