First, thanks for having this site available. I am running Windows XP on the machine with the issue. My issue started simply with Google being redirected every time I clicked a link. After that, I realized that my computer was running slower. I did some research and found that the most likely cause was malware. So I tried to download MalwareBytes, only, the site wouldn't open. So I downloaded the installer to another computer and sent it to this one. The program will not open. More research. I installed SDFix and ran that according to the directions, then tried to run MalwareBytes again. Still nothing. More research later, I find out about HijackThis and this forum and here I be.
