Anti-Virius Live malware infection

Hi..My name is Alex( megacdn) I have a malware virius called " Anti-Virius Live" . I am posting this from my work computer because this "malware is blocking all access to the internet from my home computer. The only site I can access is the malware site where I am required to purchase their anti-virius program.
I can not download anything so I can not provide a Hijack log. It is causing numerous pop-ups claiming many things on my PC are infected. It constantly requests purchase of their software. It also directs me to a porno site.
It has blocked access to Add/Remove program, The restore point program, and taskmanger.
Running antivrius and spyware programs does not detect it. When I do reach my taskmanager and click end task on the exe. process the process keeps poping back in.
I feel it has seriously corrupted my registry. A techie at Staples Business Depot says the only way to get rid of it is to format my harddrives( I have two) and reinstall my WindowsXP.
I not very computer proffecient. I am at my wits end. I may have to access my email from another computer. Let me know if there is any other information you require.

We understand that you are having difficulty running certain programs, including HijackThis. However, in order for us to help you it is necessary that you provide us with a HijackThis log, and it is possible you may be able to trick the malware into letting you do this. First, download HijackThis to a clean computer, then rename it from HijackThis.exe to any other name you want, using an .exe extension, for example... YourLastName.exe. Once you have done that, burn it to a CD (preferable to using a flash drive that may easily become infected) then transfer the renamed file to the infected computer and run a scan, then start a new topic and include your HijackThis log.

Please follow the guideline at the link below to start a new topic and post your HijackThis log. If you are unable to create and post a HijackThis log, then your only option may be to reformat your computer and reinstall the operating system.
