A quick update is that I downloaded and ran SUPERantispyware and it found 32 cookies and two trojans: Trojan.Agent/Gen-Nullo[Short] and Application.Agent/Gen-TempZ. I removed all of them and still have the problem. Also, Microsoft Security Essentials detected Trojan: Win32/Alureon.CO twice in one day (3 days ago) - I removed and rebooted both times so hopefully it is gone.....
