suspected malware

im running xp sp3
using firefox
computer is lagging initially on each page loaded online
internet video is choppy, saved video on media player is not
found mrt and mrtstub under the folder f9e5163946bf4bb0d760 in C:\
went to microsoft.com and installed the malicious software remover, file name is different and the .exe have images associated with them as opposed to the files in f9e5163946bf4bb0d760
