Hijack this log file -Help- Denied access to host file

This is my first time to post. My web root anti virus anti spy-ware detected potentially rootkit-masked registry. Risk - Critical. I quarantined it and it never showed up in quarantine so then I did some reading downloaded hijack this and ran a system scan and a screen popped up which said "for some reason your system denied write access to your host file. If any hijacked domains are in this registry hijack this may not be able to fix them." What is going on? Below is my log file from hijack This, please help me understand what all this means and what I need to do.

I see from your HJT log that you're using a 64 bit operating system.

Unfortunately, the tools we use to analyze and remove infections do not work properly on a 64 bit operating system, and their results cannot be relied upon. Because of this, it is almost impossible for us to correctly diagnose problems, and the fixes we might offer could potentially do as much damage to your computer as any infection you might have.

Due to the above stated reasons, we do not at this time offer support for 64 bit operating systems. We are sorry that we are currently unable to assist you.
