Copying Data from Old Hardrive

I just got a new machine and am starting to copy my data from my old drive to the new harddisk. The data is around 20GB, i want to make sure there is no form of malware in the old drive that would get copied to the new system.
How do i make sure all the files are completely clean, i know for a fact anti virii do not and are not capable of detecting all malicious files.
