Please let me know if this computer is used to connect to an educational network at The University of California, Riverside

Yes, it is used at UCR. Thanks for helping me with this. The computer seemed to get a virus a little while back. I think McAfee killed the virus, but it still has some of the hijacking damange left over. Some of the time it still hijacks to inncorrect sites when I'm on the internet.

This is not a university computer. It is a personal laptop. I am a college student and sometimes take my computer with me to UCR. While I'm on campus I use the schools Wifi (as all students on campus can). I hope that's not a problem. If you were to give me advice that accidentally removed my university network connection, that would be ok. Once we can get the computer to stop hijacking while I'm on my home network, I could reinstall the school's network connection. I hope that is acceptable. Thank you for your time.
