Virus infection creating BITxxx.tmp files all the time

My brother in-law has an infection on his computer , avast keeps stating that suspicions element are present and they are files named BITxxx.tmp and are constantly created on the temp folder , I have already ran scan with avast and malwarebytes but still have the problem, can anybody help?

they are files named BITxxx.tmp and are constantly created on the temp folder

Files with names in the form of BITxxx.tmp are legit, they are generated by BITS (background intelligent transfer service). BITS is used by auto-updaters so that's probably the origin of the files.

avast keeps stating that suspicions element are present

Can you tell me what avast is warning you about, what suspicions element exactly?

It sees the bitxxxx.tmp files as the suspicious element and moves them do the vault or quarantine folder this messages shows 3 or 4 times every several minutes is really distracting when using anything else on the laptop
