Strange problems on new Computer

I've got a strange problem on a new Dell. When turning it on it shows windows installer and then Sonic Updater appears but reappears many times when closed. As the computer is new I'm puzzled and wondered if it's something I can easily fix. I noticed in the HJT log

and wondered why the file is missing. Also got a strange problem where most web sites are always asking for a password, but this may be related to the router somehow. Here is the rest of the log; If anyone can tell me what is unnecessary or what is causing the problems, that would be great. The strange drivers are old Canon drivers and less old Epson.

I solved the problem, as Sonic registration had been blocked by ZoneAlarm.

I'd still be interested to know what I can safely delete to get rid of the preloaded rubbish.

Also, on the O23 ther are 2 references to SQL ... file missing in both cases ... why is that the case on a new computer, and what can I do about it ... delete it or somehow find the files ... is SQL necessary ?

Hijackthis has a problem 'seeing' some files... just because Hijackthis says the file is missing doesn't mean that it actually is missing! As long as everything is working as it should then I wouldn't worry about it.

As for the preloaded rubbish.. the best way to get rid of what you don't want is to use the uninstaller in Add/remove programs
