what is up with this :?
The webmaster feels that Adblock Plus is stealing by not allowing users to view ads (I may have interpreted it wrongly, but I won't correct that stand).

Anyway, that's the general site if you will see if you come across a site that blocks Firefox.

On a side note, you can spoof the useragent of Firefox to get in. I'm too lazy to type out... you can Google for an answer or use an addon to spoof it.
Whole lot about it here.

Paperghost has blogged about it here.

I did this, just out of curiosity. I got into the site with no problem. Funnily enough, I was then thrown out of it because I had Javascript disabled (I use the NoScript add-on). This guy certainly knows how to build a user-friendly website! I find the whole thing pathetic. If I have problems viewing any website, I just don't bother with it. I'm certainly not switching off Adblock and NoScript.

Firefox with JavaScript allowed and spoofed useragent - no problems

Firefox with JavaScript disabled and spoofed useragent - first time visit, no problem, subsequently, you will face problems. I think he loaded two ways of checking the useragent, one via PHP and the other one via JavaScript. That way, nobody will bypass JavaScript and say "Hey! I can get in!"

If it isn't user-friendly, will it have attracted lots to view it? :D

Anyway, I would stop feeding this troll. By generating so much views on it, he has already achieved what he needs.
I don't even use AdBlocker. I just have the MVP Hosts file. Takes care of those ads in IE and FireFox. ;)
