Did you ever have one of 'those days'
Yesterday the photocopier in my office refused to work, it didn't matter how much I fiddled and pressed this and that it was totally dead. So in the end I called the support people and put a note on the machine. Everyone was running downstairs all day long to use the copier on the ground floor but the fixit guy turned up at around 4pm so that wasn't too bad.
What's up with it he said, its just dead said I. Did you switch it on he asked. Of course I said.... banging on the on switch. What about the power switch here he asked, flicking a switch at the side of the machine. Oh I said.... I didn't know that was there.
Talk about blonde moment! He thought it was very funny and was quite pleased as we were his last call of the day and it meant he could go home early. So I made him a cup of tea and asked him to swear to my boss that it was a wobbly switch!
