am hoping swammy 2 will post over here; he is in the beginners section on PCA and seems to have a lot of problems with his pc; just hope he makes it to here to get sorted of possible malaware infection

Thanks Chris; I have left another reply on his/her thread inviting a reply over here; it does sound as though he has some problems; but may lack the courage to register here; I have told him you are ready and waiting for him and I have tried to encourage him to come here ; cant really do much more; but I am needing to know from him , if he gets here, what his username here is, so I for one can watch his progress; dont yet see him over here

im doin a Adaware virus scan now and its found this . Trojan Horse Downloader SwizzorXW whatever that means .if i find anythin else i will let u know m8.. Swanny

OK;you have gotten yourself here;WELL DONE have you managed yet to run and save a hijackthis log? I"ll give you the link to the correct section to post it in where the experts can sort your problem out

the correct section for your log is at this link LOG FILE HERE

you will need to click on "new topic" icon to start your own thread

suggest you use a title such as "Possible infected computer,advise sought please";
if you have a log file , post it there in one whole chuck; just copy and paste the entire thing in ONE GO; then await help; I will keep an eye out for you ; you will need to follow instructctuions carefully

ive completed my Adaware scan,and it found this .
trojan horse downloader swizzor xw
c2 media\set up.exe
deleted
back up copy infected.

in adaware, above is in quarrantine it says it has been healed?
I will do a hijack log tomorrow.. late now.So c u tomorrow,and tx again.

open THIS section HERE FOR THE LOG FILE click on that link and it will take you to the section you need to be in to post your log; you need to click on "new topic" and it will open a new thread for you; put something in the tilte bit, such as problem with computer; then in the body of the message copy and paste your hijacthis log file; then wait for a reply by a specialist

if you try it and it does go completely wrong, admin will help you out so do not worry
